EMS
During this one or two year fellowship, fellows work as assistants in the City of Columbus Emergency Medical Services System to acquire experience in the operation of a sophisticated metropolitan EMS system. This includes training programs for BLS and ALS personnel, prehospital and resuscitation research, air ambulance, National Registery of EMTs and tactical EMS.
Metropolitan Columbus encompasses 400 square miles with a population of 1.74 million people, the City of Columbus encompasses 240 square miles with a population of 790,000.
